Tonnesen Accounting Services (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides Quality of Earnings reports, financial due diligence, bookkeeping, and fractional CFO services. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Questions about this policy can go to josh@tonnesenaccountingservices.com or (908) 698-7030.
Contact and consultation requests. When you submit a form on this site, we collect what you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, the service you are interested in, and any message you write. We use it to respond to you, to schedule a consultation, and to follow up about our services.
Email and phone. If you contact us directly, we keep that correspondence so we can serve you.
Engagement information. If you become a client, we receive financial records and other documents in the course of the engagement. That information is governed by our engagement letter and by the confidentiality obligations in Section 8, not by this website policy.
When you visit this site, some information is collected automatically:
This site loads the following third-party services, each of which may set cookies or receive information about your visit:

We use the information above to:
We use Google Ads, which means that after visiting this site you may later see our ads on Google or on other sites in Google’s network. Google uses cookies and similar identifiers to do that. You can control it here:
Under some U.S. state privacy laws, using a service like this counts as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. If you live in a state with those rights and you want us to stop, email josh@tonnesenaccountingservices.com and we will honor the request.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
Information we receive in the course of a professional engagement is confidential. We do not disclose it except with your authorization, as you direct, or where disclosure is required by law, by professional standards, or by a regulator or court. This obligation is separate from, and stricter than, the website terms above.
Most browsers let you see what cookies are set, block them, or delete them. Look for “Cookies” or “Site data” in your browser’s privacy settings. Browsing in a private or incognito window also discards cookies when you close it.
Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading this site or submitting a form, but some features may not work, and the video and reviews widget may not load.
We do not display a cookie consent banner. If you are visiting from a region that requires opt-in consent before non-essential cookies are set, the browser controls above and the opt-out links in Section 6 are the mechanisms available to you, and you may email us to ask us to delete information already collected about your visit.
We keep contact-form submissions and correspondence for as long as we may need them to respond to you, to serve you, and to meet our professional and legal obligations. We do not operate a fixed deletion schedule. You can ask us at any time to delete information we hold about you, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Analytics and session-replay data are kept according to the retention settings of the tools listed in Section 4, which are shorter.
We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information in our custody, including access controls and encrypted transmission of this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To make a request, email josh@tonnesenaccountingservices.com. We will verify your identity before acting on it. Information we are required to keep for professional or legal reasons may not be deletable.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics in any browser using Google’s opt-out add-on.
We do not send marketing or newsletter email, and we do not add people who contact us to any mailing list. If we contact you it is because you asked us to, or because we are working with you.
This site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
This site links to third-party sites, including LinkedIn, Google, and our scheduling provider. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
If we change this policy we will post the revised version here and update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described in a short note at the top.
